Food
Pastas here are house made, with love. Dishes are small but pack powerful flavour. Ontario buffalo mozzarella, anchovies and p.e.c. summer tomato is oh so fresh tasting. Grilled octopus, Swiss chard, new potato and chili peppers inspire. Finish off with some cheese from their cheese cave. Great wine parings too.
Wine
Each dish has a carefully chosen wine. Reasonably priced hidden gems from Italy and Ontario. Each glass tastes like they just opened up a bottle for you thanks to the ennomatic wine system. I like to sit at the bar and watch it in action.
Extremely eco friendly, even the kitchen grease is converted into biodiesel fuel. Enoteca Sociale uses local ingredients and gives back to the community. In Italy Cantina Sociale is a wine making facility shared by the neighborhood and used to produce wine for the community.
