Dinner theatre here is 18 courses of the most interesting food combinations you can ever imagine and a finale that will leave you speechless. Snacks to start-A red Shiso Mojito, fruit tomato, caramel corn and Ratatouille; degustation-uni and fennel, scallops Jim Lambie (plate is painted to replicate one of the artist’s famous installation works), Watermelon Piñata (sherbet), smoke inhaled from under a tea cup, Wagyu, xiaolongbao (a steamed dumpling), Miso soup; desserts and petits fours-a puff, olive oil gummy, ny cheesecake, cappuccino, and the finale. A plate of lemons, limes, oranges, a strawberry and a little red berry -the miracle fruit. The chef instructs you to taste the lemon, I pucker, so sour. Now you must chew the berry for 30 sec, a little tart. You’re now instructed to taste the lemon again, and the rest of the fruit. I am blown away, speechless, the most remarkable sensation, its almost unreal. The fruit tastes candied, sugary sweet, beautiful. It lasted only 20 min on my palette, but forever in my mind.
