Spencer’s at the Waterfront http://www.spencers.ca/restaurant 905-633-7494 open every day, Champagne Sunday Brunch 930am – last seating 230pm
The view is breathtaking, and after 5 years of being in the business, Spencer’s is still going strong. The menu changes with the seasons focusing on local organic ingredients from the Golden Horseshoe area. I always order a side of seasonal vegetables with my meal. Today i’m having a burger, made with dry aged beef, black truffle, mushroom, and Québec brie; looks gorgeous and tastes even better. Oven roasted Nova Scotia lobster with garlic butter, spinach, hollandaise, and French fries is always a safe bet when you are undecided about what to eat; lobster meat is so sweet with just the right texture. On Sundays the champagne brunch includes signature menu items as well as a wonderful selection of salads and seafood. You must go and see for yourself because it’s the most fun you will have at a brunch in Burlington. The chocolate fountain on the dessert table is surrounded by fruit, cookies and house-made marshmallows that will keep you coming back all afternoon.
Sunday brunch it’s all you can drink bloody caesar, bloody Mary, mimosa, Kir Royale, Smoothies, coffee, tea, and juices. During the week things return norm with a great cocktail and wine menu. Tiger Lily – soho lychee, sake, orange blossom water and jasmine tea is so refreshing you’ll feel like you’re strolling through a cherry blossom orchard in Japan. I love the fresh juices and the raspberry fizz mocktail, its summer in a glass.
