It’s a safe bet any night of the week that your meal will be tasty, the service hasty, all present within One’s unique theatrical atmosphere. Opened in 2007 it is still going strong, open late, utilizing natural and organic ingredients, take-out is available, and has a rockin’ summer patio. Service can sometimes be snooty, I sometimes I get the feeling I’m inconveniencing the waiter by asking a simple question. Can’t go wrong with their 8oz U.S.D.A Prime burger topped with aged cheddar, smoked bacon, red onion and served with crisp frites, (opt for the truffle and reggiano) tenderly juicy and moist. Beef short rib with braising liquid and roasted root vegetables are tasty, earthy and comfort. 14 oz U.S.D.A. Prime ribeye is nicely marbled but at $54 (served unaccompanied) it’s not quite worth it. The lovely bar has a way of catching up with you when 3oz pours are the norm. The creative cocktail list will keep your mind and eyes hungry all night long. A great choice for indecisive visitors and locals; it’s a great place to start an adventure.
