It’s true the portions are small and the service is slow but there is light at the end of the tunnel. The décor is cozy, warm and inviting. A small tapas menu accompanies a diverse wine list. My problem is that the portions are small, even by tapas standards. The whole dish can be consumed in two bites; there just isn’t enough to share. And the pricing doesn’t reflect the dish, a tad overpriced. Port marinated beef tartar, watercress, cornbread crostini, quail egg and white truffle oil is tasty but could do without excessive watercress garnish. Yukon gold fries served with a smoked paprika aioli has a golden crisp skin that combines together for a smoky crunch. Grilled sardines on toast with cherry tomato escabeche and basil balance acidity but works best without the toast. Innovative cocktail list though service is sometimes slow.
