It has high ceilings, greenhouse windows, an awesome patio, an impressive menu, and one of the most diverse cocktail lists in the city. This sports bar is on another level.
Start out the liberty ancho pepper hummus-avocado crema-pico de gallo feta dip, served with crunchy corn tortillas and sea salted warm flatbreads, perfect for snacking and sharing. Mongolian pork tacos have an irresistible tangy crunch, tasty pulled pork, citrus hoisin, and Asian slaw. Korean beef short ribs with napa slaw and hoisin citrus marinade shine in this most unlikely place. Feel forgiven after having a bite of their redemption burger, it’s sinfully delicious. Beretta farms fresh ground beef, cheddar and all the classic fixings. The egg bun is toasted on the griddle giving it a crusty edge, moist and fluffy inside. The meat is so fresh you can order it any way you like; a spot of mustard which I normally omit on my burgers, added just the right zip.
The bar has a star filled cocktail list that will please even the most undecided of patrons. Try a savory el César, garnished with one of those pickles you can’t get enough of but can’t seem to find in any grocery store. For something classic try one of their marvelous Manhattans. And for something sweet try the Toblerone cocktail – yes it tastes as good as it sounds.
Unexpected from a sports bar, this place offers well though-of food choices and cocktails. One of my favorite liberty village spots to wind down the evening.
