Noce

Despite the fact that Noce has been around for almost 18 years it is still fairly unknown amongst most Torontonians.   Serving primarily Italian cuisine customers tend to either love their experience or extremely dislike it.  The atmosphere is wonderfully warm even on the coldest of nights.

Fresh pasta and fish specials change frequently while the rest of the menu seems caught in time.  I found the dishes to be colourful and carefully prepared but slightly overpriced for the portion provided. The “Noce salad” is a menu highlight.  Organic greens, sweet sliced pear, crunchy walnuts and an aged savory Italian Asiago unite in a lovely light vinaigrette. The wine list is extensive, award winning and specializing in Italian reds.  Servers seem leisurely and out of focus.

ABOUT ME

I have lived in Toronto my whole life. I'm first generation German/Polish. My obsession with food began when I was young, watching my parents cook dinner, helping with barbeques. I try a new restaurant every week and I love to travel. There isn't anything I wouldn't try or do. I love sharing all my food adventures!
