They have a no modifications, no substitutions policy that stands up against the biggest of begging which I greatly admire.  Some people hate it, others love Terroni because if it.  The décor is homey soothing like a Nona’s kitchen.  The staff is very attentive even at the busiest of times.

Regional Italian dishes unchanged for generations still keep customers rolling through the door for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  If visiting in the afternoon one must try the Matteo Panini.  Mozzarella di bufala, fresh tomato and basil are simple and fresh tasting on a crusty bun.  Homemade Ravioli di Zio Paperone pairs savory duck confit with sweet fig and roasted butternut squash sautéed with oyster and butter mushrooms finished with shaved parmesan.   Their thin crust pizzas are fantastic, try “CT’ Mang” which is a white pizza garnished with mozzarella, gorgonzola, fresh pear, walnuts, speck and honey tasting as fabulous as an evening at Terroni.

ABOUT ME

I have lived in Toronto my whole life. I'm first generation German/Polish. My obsession with food began when I was young, watching my parents cook dinner, helping with barbeques. I try a new restaurant every week and I love to travel. There isn't anything I wouldn't try or do. I love sharing all my food adventures!
