When the ideals changed at Marben so did the ingredients and it had a ripple effect in the restaurant. Chef Carl Heinrich’s locally sourced seasonal menu changes daily with availability. With a simpler approach this eatery has created tasty new dishes and happier customers. Sides of winter root vegetables crunch sweetly in my mouth. A warming butternut squash soup awakens my senses with sage and chantilly on a lazy weekend afternoon. Keep in mind the portions are still small and designed for sharing, so I always order a few items.The prices have become more reasonable.
