Much more than a pub is this neighborhood watering hole, serving up traditional English fare in a casual environment. This hidden gem looks very fancy from the outside, but inside it’s an ultra cool two level sports enthusiast’s hideaway.
Whether I’m lounging on the upstairs patio in the summer or relaxing on a chaise inside on a cold winter, I must always order the pork scratchings. Crispy bite-sized morsels of salty heaven wet the palette; make sure you ask for them extra crispy. Time honoured fish and chips looking golden and tasting delicious is just what the doctor ordered. Tidy well-informed servers combined with a serious stocked bar, equal a great place to relax, unravel and catch up with friends.
