Wheat Sheaf

Wheat Sheaf      416-504-9912    open daily lunch & dinner

One of Toronto’s oldest bars dates back to 1849.  And was exclusive to men until 1969.  Now this neighborhood hangout appeals to everyone, especially sports fans.  They have a big screen tv, a pool table, and tons of autographed pictures on the walls.  Busy half priced wing nights Sunday to Tuesday after 5pm brings in a plethora of city folk.   I really enjoy Wheat Sheaf for so many reasons;  the casual atmosphere, the tasty drinks and some of the crunchiest fried wings in the city.  I find myself craving the juicy tender wings weekly like so many others, surrendering to the indulgence.  During the warmer months they have a relaxing outdoor patio that stretches around the building.  Servers are superb.

ABOUT ME

I have lived in Toronto my whole life. I'm first generation German/Polish. My obsession with food began when I was young, watching my parents cook dinner, helping with barbeques. I try a new restaurant every week and I love to travel. There isn't anything I wouldn't try or do. I love sharing all my food adventures!
