I’ve been to Apache Burger on many occasions, hoping to find a perfect burger, tasty cut fries and savory oniony-sweet rings. But always, I am let down. It doesn’t matter if I dine in or take away – the food just seems average. Don’t get me wrong the cooking isn’t bad. It just never, in my mind, lives up to all the hype surrounding it. And I’ve tried just about every item on the menu. The burgers seem dated, and over time have lost their luster. The patties are thin and little dry. The fries have their days of good and bad. I do, however, enjoy their thickly battered, fried onion rings – lightly salted of course.
Overall this eatery is just another burger joint, with a name that’s bigger than their burgers.
