I was in the city of Mississauga, it was lunchtime and had a craving for a burger. Inside this starkly decorated, Greek influenced, fast food burger shop is your standard array of burgers with one giant exception – the 16oz Sumo burger (two 8oz Homeburger patties), its literally a pound of juicy charbroiled beef. In addition to the sandwiches they also serve fish n’ chips, Souvlaki and a few – Greek inspired - salads.
Today I decide on a Homeburger with cheese, a side of freshly cut fries, crispy battered onion rings and nostalgic thick creamy gravy. Their 8oz patty is juicy, kissed with garlic and packed full of rich meaty flavour. It’s not a gourmet burger but it sure is delicious and I would definitely come back and try it again.
