Just off Rogers Road in the west end of the city is Martins, a Portuguese grill house. The chicken is barbequed on a rotisserie until crispy and blackened. The skin is heavily salted which I like; however, the chicken a little on the dry side, especially the white meat. And my favorite parts of the chicken – the wing tips – have been removed. I can’t decide if I really like or dislike the chicken. On one side the skin is crispy and well seasoned but on the other side the meat is dry and at times unpalatable. I probably would not come back.
