The comforting aroma of the grill provides a warm welcome at this tiny converted ma and pa burger shop.  Upbeat music blasts on the stereo as locals chatter steadily but not too boisterously on busy weekday lunches.  A charming wine selection and a tasty cocktail list join the feel-good, diner-style menu.  The place has a great vibe, lots if energy, no wonder customers keep coming back.

To start, a Caesar extravaganza with a sour pickle and a toasted kabanosy ($12) is a savory delight, and the perfect paring for patty melt burger ($15).  Rye bread lightly browned hugs the dripping patty, topped with melted grilled cheese, fried onions, ff, and chili mayo. I added a side of housemade  that was the perfect accompaniment to the salty fries.Dessert brings an ice cream sundae with peanuts and caramel sauce and granola.

Lunch was delicious, I can’t wait for dinner.

ABOUT ME

I have lived in Toronto my whole life. I'm first generation German/Polish. My obsession with food began when I was young, watching my parents cook dinner, helping with barbeques. I try a new restaurant every week and I love to travel. There isn't anything I wouldn't try or do. I love sharing all my food adventures!
