Waterfront Night Market http://www.waterfrontnightmarket.com/
Rushing from one end of the city to the other I just made it in time to catch the end of the market. I’m so glad I did! The weather is beautiful and the vendors are selling off what is leftover from the night. As I race around sampling as much as I can, snapping photos and videos, I realize how undeniably delicious this event is. I’m hooked and will definitely make more time for the next popup night market. Here are a few vendors that caught my eye:
Teppanyaki Squid on a stick is always a must! And Dat Chick Craze serves up lip-smacking fried chicken – I’m already addicted. www.facebook.com/datchickcraze.dcc
And a new frozen treat concept served out of a kiosk that resembles a modern day ski lodge. It tastes like frozen cotton candy and its called Chilly Ribbons www.chillyribbons.com Light and fluffy, the flavored ice shavings flow out of a machine: wafer-thin ribbons of shaved snow created from blocks of creamy, flavored ice. It also has a third less calories than yogurt or ice cream. Check out the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2xkfYVVXnk
