Cocktail week in Toronto went by as fast as the summer. And the only day I had time to enjoy this event was Sunday. The venue: Weslodge. One of my favorite hangouts in the city, attracting a more mature and diverse crowd than most King West restaurants. To drink, a savory immensely addicting Mott’s Clamato Caesar garnished with olives. To eat, Eggs Benedict constructed using freshly baked English muffins, house-cured maple syrup lamb saddle bacon, and a plump soft boiled egg covered by frothy hollandaise sauce.
