I have to start by saying this buffet is ridiculous, in an unbelievably good way. Normally a buffet is a buffet but Dragon Legend takes the world “buffet” to a whole new level. First the room is spectacular, a cross between a botanical garden and dinner theatre. They really spared no expense creating this spot, from the gorgeously beautiful wood carved Buddha to the “gold” sinks in the unisex washrooms. Asian themed art is displayed on the walls and in large sculptures scattered around the enormous restaurant. And I haven’t even told you about the quality of the food.
Just one plate of food greatly exceeds the $27.99 price tag; I have no idea how they are going to sustain this but experience this place while you can! The main focus in this spot is dim sum and sushi, however, they have an awesome grill including Peking Duck, striploin and a made from scratch noodle soup station – yes I watched them make the dough, roll it and cut it into noodles (boil first) then toss it into the soup of your choice. Other dishes from a more traditional buffet include: sautéed king mushrooms, sesame asparagus, curried noodles, dumplings and a beautiful dessert table that I couldn’t possibly try because I was completely stuffed!
