The small five table room has a cute nautical theme, think seaside village in an episode of Murder She Wrote. Order at the counter, take a seat and after a short wait your food arrives. Wednesday’s are lobster day and so the afternoon must start out with buttery warm top cut bun holding a small amount of lobster meat that’s on the chilly side, too much on the chilly side. Crunchy sunflower seeds sprinkled with addicting vinaigrette save this dish slightly, however the price is wrong (Bob): $15.99 with fries and $16.99 with a small salad.
Colourful Basa fish tacos are tasty, but fading memory already. The fish basket hits with garlicky lightly battered calamari and haddock, and misses with dense brown fries (cooked improperly I’m guessing), hard as a rock battered shrimp and coleslaw that’s seasoned with water – I’m still on the fence about the scallops.
