I really love this spot; always a great vibe, fun lively crowd and really, really good, stick-to-your-ribs food. And now the kitchen has added “The Cutting Board”, a platter loaded with crispy hen, juicy lamb ribs, rich duck sausage, dry aged rib eye, pulled pork, Cuban slaw, baked pasta and jalapeno biscuits ($29 a person). I also enjoyed a sweet, barrel aged Negroni and a perfectly softly boiled scotch egg bursting with chorizo, tomato jam and black truffle – mmmmmm! Sides are dynamite: buttery “twist-on-tradition” herb spatzle and charred brussel sprouts caramelized with crunch.
