A boisterous crowd of area locals and out-of-towners fill the city’s newest, lushiest patio in the heart of downtown Toronto, The Jazz Cellar. I think it’s totally chill, perfect for relaxing and meeting other fabulous Torontonians. And as delighted to be invited to their opening party.
Sybil Walker, General Manager, “…a full-service bar, luxurious seating and state of the art audio-visual equipment, The Jazz Cellar offers food and music lovers a place to make their days and nights memorable, escaping the city below on our private patio.” – I couldn’t have said it better.
Tasty items passed around over the warm evening: pulled pork sandwiches with cabbage and pepper slaw on a house baked Kaiser bun, lobster tacos with black bean Spread, lamb meatballs, and a refreshing Rhubarb Fizz with simple syrup and Prosecco. I’m not sold on fried spring rolls though, kind of a mish-mash of flavours. All said and done, the kitchens house made corn chips sided with fresh salsa are unbelievable – salty chips, sweet tomatoes – I would totally come back just for them.
