Nothing to do on a Monday? Well come on down to Chef David Lee’s GOLDEN. BROWN. DELICIOUS. #GBDMondays at The Carbon Bar for fabulous fall fare. I’ve always loved this space with it’s tall ceilings, stellar space-like decor – giant orbs filled with dim light floating above. This ever evolving menu offers all things delicious, but on this Mondays two especially: Blackened Sea Bass Tacos and Korean Pork Fried Ribs. A Carbon infused Black Mamba Margarita works best with this duo.
Other notable dishes: Golden Fried Rice, Kettle Corn chili-lime salt dust, shishito peppers, Crunchy Crisp Popcorn Chicken, a smoky, JUICY and TENDER Meat Platter and the citrus infused Volstead cocktail (Hendrick’s gin, amaro montenegro cucumber, agave, lemon, orange bitters).
For dessert, the silkiest Banana Toffee Cream Pie (ever) for two. For those who prefer a “liquid dessert”, can’t argue Smokin’ Manhattan tobacco-infused Lot 40 Rye.
