This was one of the stops on my Leslisville BIA restaurant crawl.
Rock Lobster is growing and this is chef Matt Dean Pettit’s latest location. I’ve always loved the fresh seafood, the Lobster Caesars and the expert casualness exuded from the staff – makes me just feel happy. What’s different here? Not much, the menu is the same. The large room is open, still giving one that fisherman’s seaside cabin sports-bar feel. Sitting at a hightop, our group settles down to wait for the kitchens famous Nova Scotia lobster roll (touch of mayo + lemon + RLFC seasoning + Yukon chips + McClure’s pickle). Even though I am more than satiated, the warm buttery sandwich went down quickly.
