It’s been just a few years have passed since I have dined at this interesting Mississauga establishment and things are looking a little different. The menu, influenced by Habit’s Gastropub executive Chef Ron Stratton, is a mixture of cuisines served until 10pm Wednesday to Saturday. Soon after, the kitchen switches to a late night menu and the room transitions into a club complete with DJ. The mostly “905” 25+ crowd enjoys Latin Wednesdays, Brand’d Fridays and Dinner and a Movie Saturdays.
Between The Sheets – Hennessy VS, Captain Morgan dark rum, Triple Sec – garnished with a fresh lemon – perfect if you’re looking for something strong to start the night out. Starting out to a good start with jumbo shrimp and vegetable lime flavoured tempura, and house-made grilled flatbread topped with onion jam, mission figs, prosciutto, Ontario goat cheese and micro arugula.
For my main I had the special, a veal chop, which was good but the price point was extremely high. Also, was the 10oz in-house dry aged USDA with Ontario goat cheese scalloped potatoes and ratatouille in veal jus.
Dessert finishes the evening on a high note with vanilla espresso beignets, rich with nutmeg, served with creme anglaise.
