Yes! Pinkberry has arrived in Toronto… and I’m loving every minute of it! They really rolled out the PINK carpet for this opening. Situated right inside the Indigo entrance, convienently located beneath food courts, inside the fabulous, recently expanded Sherway Gardens
The brightly lit dessert stop is very clean looking, enhanced by the different flavours of frozen yogurt. I really enjoyed watching Matthew Maida, director of operations (Pinkberry), Gene Maida president of corporate finance (Georgian Group) and Andy Traynor general manager (Sherway Gardens) cut the PINK ribbon. How exciting!
The DJ starts spinning beats and the scoops start flowing. Love the fresh-never-frozen fruit and candy toppings. My mom enjoyed a salted caramel yogurt topped with raspberry, kiwi and mango. I put together a small masterpiece: tart yogurt topped with skor bits, cookies n’ cream, Nutella, almonds, chocolate, pecans, and chocolate brownie.
After a whirlwind experience, media, family and friends were treated to a performance by Virginia to Vegas . If you were to ask me, at this moment what my favorite frozen yogurt place is… I would honestly have to say Pinkberry – it’s the tart that got to me… And I love that it’s smooth, rich and slowly melts away on the palate – not to mention it’s always available. Try it!
