Another fabulous Paramount has opened in the Don Mills Shopping plaza. Media, close family and friends gather together with owner Mohamad Fakih, Raptors Superfan Nav Bhatia and Raptor Jonas Valančiūnas to cut the ribbon and make it official – SO happy to be invited!!
Paramount is known to be the fasted growing Middle Eastern restaurant in North America. Opening their doors in 2007, they now have 30 locations internationally. By the end of 2016, they have a confirmed 60 locations across the globe. Not only is the décor modern, but there is also an area for children to play and let go of all that excess energy.
Paramount has added six new menu items, making this their largest menu expansion yet! Executive Chef William’s new menu items are consistent with their signature fresh ingredients and authentic Middle Eastern flavours, and include a Mezze Plate (we sampled Hummus, mutabal, falafel and Tabouleh salad in shots),
Saj beef and chicken wraps (tabliye),
roasted potato the Lebanese way and a BBQ Shrimp Plate.
With the addition of these new items, Paramount’s menus have taken on a whole new look including fun mocktails: Namas-Tea (Persian saffron, Egyptian, chamomile, dehydrated rose, local wildflower, honey, meyer lemon bitter, apricot, citrus) and May Flowers (cucumbers, key lime, dill, mint, cherry blossom, elderflower, and flower petals).
The food quality never lets me down, it’s always fresh, made on site and consistently tasty. I’m a huge dipper and they have plates and plates of in-house made dips and breads – super fresh and very healthy. The event was a blast!
Baklawa is perfect for dessert. Fresh mango and strawberry juice refreshes the palate.
The room and the energy gives off such a positive vibe. Paramount has also teamed up with Just Eat, the handy restaurant delivery app, to better serve their customers. You can now enjoy Paramount’s authentic Middle Eastern flavours right at home! So many locations , if you haven’t’ tried Paramount you MUST!
Would wouldn’t like sugary fried bananas and a fruit smoothie?
