I joined a friend of mine for an early dinner at this wonderful new location on Enterprise Boulevard in Markham. The room is modern with an air of newness; kitchen opens to the dining room then to the bar. Windows line most of the restaurant. I’ve been to several Milestones and each is slightly different from one another. Traditional Lime Mojito is a refreshing must: Havana Club Anejo Reserva amber rum, fresh lime, fresh mint, house-made cane syrup and soda (1.5 oz).
I’ve started to make Roasted Garlic Caesar Salad Romaine lettuce and baby kale, topped with smoked bacon, Parmesan cheese with focaccia croutons! I’ve only make my Caesar salads like this now. What a great idea! However, still trying to re-create their tangy signature dressing. Prime Rib Sandwich (one of their signature dishes) does not disappoint. I LOVE the fattier slices of meat and when I asked the kitchen, they made it happen. Hey, it really IS hand carved to order. Hats off to the kitchen. This sandwich is topped with crisp buttermilk onion strings, herb jus and garlic horseradish aioli on a pillowy soft egg bun. The entire complex is still being built; new restaurants and shops are opening monthly. There is also an awesome Cineplex in the plaza, which is where we went after our delightful meal.
